At Top Lach Dental Practice we treat with Straight 8 Aligners — our own aligner system, designed and produced in our own orthodontics lab in Utrecht. The result depends mainly on the practitioner, not on the brand of plastic.
Clear aligners straighten your teeth step by step with a series of transparent, removable trays. Invisalign is the best-known brand, but certainly not the only one: the technology (3D scan, digital planning, custom-made aligners) is comparable across modern systems.
What makes the difference is not the brand but the practitioner: who makes the diagnosis, who designs the treatment plan, and who intervenes when things go differently than planned? At Top Lach every aligner treatment is supervised by experienced practitioners led by dentist-gnathologist Mohamed Magdy — with a dentist holding an MSc in Orthodontics on the team.
We deliberately chose not to buy aligners externally but to develop our own system: Straight 8 Aligners, fully designed and produced in our own lab on the Amsterdamsestraatweg — with a 3Shape 3D scanner and 3D-cutting technology.
