A root canal treatment is needed when the nerve (pulp) inside a tooth is infected or dead. This can be caused by deep decay, a leaking filling, a crack or trauma. Symptoms include severe pain, sensitivity to hot and cold, facial swelling or a fistula.
At Top Lach we perform root canal treatment under local anesthesia — you feel nothing. The dentist opens the tooth, removes infected tissue with special files, disinfects the canals and fills them. Afterwards the tooth is restored with a filling or crown.
